Nassaji suffer first setback under Enayati

Mazandaran-based Nassaji suf fered a 2–0 home defeat to Teh ran’s Havadar in Week 32 of the Iranian First Division, marking both their first-ever loss to the capital club and their first defeat under head coach Gholamreza Enayati. The result reduced Nas saji’s lead over closest challeng ers Mes Shahr-e Babak from five points to just two, tightening the title race with two matches re maining in the season. According to IRNA, Nassaji Mazandaran and Havadar Tehran met on Friday in one of the Week 32 fixtures of the Iranian First Di vision at Shahid Vatani Stadium in Qaemshahr. Havadar took a more effective approach in the first half and opened the scoring in the 41st minute through Amir Moham mad Sayad, going into halftime with a 1–0 lead. In the second half, Nassaji failed to deliver their usual perfor mance, and Mazandaran-born forward Amin Qasemi-Nejad doubled Havadar’s advantage in the 53rd minute to secure the win. Although Nassaji had already se cured promotion to the Persian Gulf Pro League two weeks ear lier, they fielded a rotated lineup featuring several young players and were unable to capitalize on home advantage. The result marked their fourth home defeat of the season and their first loss ever against Havadar in head-to head meetings. Meanwhile, Mes Shahr-e Babak defeated Shenaavar Sazi Qeshm 3–1, cutting Nassaji’s lead at the top of the table to just two points and setting up a tightly contest ed finish to the title race with two rounds remaining.
