10th edition of IFFZ dedicated to memory of Dariush Mehrjui

The 10th International Iranian Film Festival Zurich (IFFZ) will pay tribute to late Iranian filmmaker Dariush Mehrjui, who was killed along with his wife in October 2023.
The festival, scheduled for Sept. 11-19, 2024, in Zurich, Switzerland, will feature 12 Iranian films in competition. The event will also include a classic Iranian film section, showcasing works by renowned directors such as Abbas Kiarostami and Bahram Beyzai, ISNA wrote.
Mehrjui, a veteran Iranian director, and his wife, Vahideh Mohammadifar, were found stabbed to death in their home in Karaj, Iran, on Oct. 14, 2023.
Yadollah Daj will serve as the festival’s secretary.
