Iran’s Treasury of Nat’l Jewels reopens to public

The Treasury of National Jewels, home to Iran’s most dazzling gemstones and jewelry, reopened to the public after a period of renovations.
The reopening ceremony, held on June 10, marked the resumption of regular visiting hours. The treasury is now open from Saturday to Tuesday, according to IRNA.
Experts at the museum will be on hand to answer visitors’ questions and provide detailed information about the historical periods, construction, and materials of the treasures on display.
The current treasury was built in 1955 and officially opened in 1960, coinciding with the establishment of the Central Bank of Iran. The collection remains under the bank’s protection.
