Iran’s director Tayyeb picked for Czech festival’s jury
Iran’s filmmaker and documentarian Mohammad Tayyeb was picked to evaluate the films at the European Section of the 26th International Sports Film Festival of Liberec, the Czech Republic.
Sportfilm Liberec 2023 is one of the oldest and most prestigious sports film festivals in the world. This event is held every year in the city of Liberec in the north of the Czech Republic, Mehr news agency reported.
The winners of this festival will be introduced to the Milan World Sports Film Festival, organized by the International Sports Film and Television Federation (FICTS). The headquarters of FICTS is in Milan, Italy, and more than 130 countries are members of this federation. The World Federation of Sports Films in Milan is under the supervision of the International Olympic Committee.
Tayyeb is an official member of FICTS and the secretary of the international festivals commission of FICTS. He has been the director of international affairs for three editions (11th to 13th) of the International Sports Film Festival of Iran.
The Liberec International Sports Film Festival opened on October 12 and will run for four days in the city of Liberec in the Czech Republic.
