Official says Iran’s cinema is inspiring for people in Vietnam
IRNA – Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam Ta Quang Dong has welcomed an agreement for holding an Iranian film and music week in Hanoi, saying that Iran’s strong and advanced cinema has been inspiring for people in the Southeast Asian country.
Quang Dong made the remarks in a meeting with Iran’s ambassador to Vietnam Ali Akbar Nazari on Friday.
Dong said that Iran and Vietnam could hold important events in 2023 which marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
He also suggested that a friendly soccer match between Iran and Vietnam could be held in 2023.
Meanwhile, Nazari hailed capacities existing in cultural, sports, and tourism ties between Iran and Vietnam and said that signing MoUs in these fields can facilitate cooperation between the two countries.
