Nowruz diplomacy meeting convened in Tehran
The 3rd International Nowruz Diplomacy Conference and Nowruz Award Ceremony were held in Tehran’s Art Garden Complex.
The customs and culture of Nowruz for countries of the region were displayed in the event, according to asremizban.com.
The meeting was organized by Abrar Contemporary International Studies and Research Institute in collaboration with some relevant organizations and support of the Iranian Foreign Ministry in Tehran.
In addition to the presence of senior diplomats and representatives of different countries, a group of cultural figures from the countries of Nowruz civilization were present at the event. At the end of the ceremony, special Nowruz badges and gifts were given to the representatives of some countries.
Nowruz begins on March 21 to celebrate advent of the Iranian New Year, which is celebrated worldwide by many people.
