Arash Kamangir’s symphony to hit global platforms

Renowned Iranian composer and researcher, Amir Pourkhalaji, is set to release his latest musical endeavors, including the global broadcast of his symphony, ‘Arash Kamangir’, and the publication of a book on viola performance.
Pourkhalaji revealed that his album, which was performed and recorded by the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine in 2009 under the baton of Vladimir Sirenko at the Kiev House of Music, will soon be available on all global digital platforms.
The suite symphony, written in four movements for orchestral symphony, has already garnered significant recognition, including the Best Composer Award at the 25th International Fajr Music Festival and the Special Award at the Ferdowsi Millennial Celebration in 2009.
Pourkhalaji also announced the publication of his book, “40 Etudes for Viola”, which includes a foreword by Starreh Beheshti, a university professor, and cover design by Nazanin Khazaee. The book focuses on various aspects of viola performance, such as finger placement, bowing techniques, and tone production.
