Five Chinese symphonic orchestras invite Iran’s musician Rahbari

Five orchestras from different Chinese cities have extended invitations to composer and orchestra conductor Ali Rahbari to serve as a guest conductor in their ensembles.
The Nanchang Symphony Orchestra, Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra, Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, Kunming Symphony Orchestra, and Wuhan Philharmonic Orchestra are among the orchestras that have sought Rahbari’s leadership, as reported by Mehr.
Currently, Rahbari is fulfilling the role of a guest conductor at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, alongside the renowned Valery Gergiev. Alongside several international soloists, Rahbari has been invited to conduct these orchestras, with their concerts set to commence in late September.
In 2015, this internationally acclaimed Iranian composer and conductor received an invitation to conduct the China Philharmonic Orchestra in Beijing. Following the success of that concert, Rahbari extended an invitation to the orchestra to perform in Tehran. Collaborating with the Tehran Symphony Orchestra under his guidance, they held a concert at the prestigious Vahdat Hall.
