Postal services to nine countries resumed as air restrictions ease

Iran’s National Post Company has resumed accepting and sending parcels to nine countries following the lifting of flight restrictions imposed during recent months of conflict, a senior postal official said.
Mehdi Maqsoudi, director of the Office of Communications and International Affairs at Iran's National Post Company, told IRNA that with the resolution of flight limitations caused by "the special circumstances of recent months" due to the American-Israeli war that began in late February, the acceptance of outgoing international parcels has resumed for Afghanistan, Oman, Turkey, China, Pakistan, Russia, India, Iraq, and Thailand.
The service is now active and available for all postal units and branches through the country's integrated postal acceptance software.
"Despite all the restrictions and pressures imposed on the postal network, extensive efforts were made to reopen these routes so that the disruption in the flow of international parcels could be resolved," Maqsoudi said.
He added that efforts continue to reopen other routes and send parcels to all countries with which postal exchanges had previously been established, stressing that "the maximum quality required by customers in sending international parcels will be ensured."
