Treacherous dimensions of US-Israeli war on Iran

By Afifeh Abedi
International relations expert

The war currently unfolding on Iran is part of the same treacherous US-Israeli scheme against Iran and the region that the martyred Iranian Leader warned about for years. When peaceful public protests turned into deadly riots through the organized intervention of CIA and Mossad operatives, resulting in the death of over 3,000 people, the imminence of such a war became clear to the Iranian government. Even despite the nuclear negotiations, Iran’s assessments indicated that these talks were a deceptive diplomatic show designed to pave the way for military strikes.
However, a particularly concerning aspect is the direct and indirect involvement of several regional countries, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain, in this war. They may believe that after weakening Iran, they can protect themselves from the treacherous scenarios envisioned by the US and the Zionist regime of Israel. But their involvement reveals the depth of the conspiracy and demonstrates that these actors’ goals extend beyond mere regional rivalry; they are defined within the framework of US and Israeli grand strategies.
Intelligence aassessments indicate that US and Israeli forces have meticulously planned and executed this stage of the war against Iran, confirming that subsequent wars in the region against other Muslim nations will also be carefully planned and implemented at an appropriate time. I believe that Turkey will be the next target in the region, and after that, Saudi Arabia will face the consequences of its plot against Iran and the region, with the betrayal of America and Israel. In fact, Iran is now fighting not only for itself but also to defend all the Muslim nations of the region against the American-Zionist conspiracy. Iran’s victory will be the triumph of the region’s nations, and Iran’s defeat will be the failure of all regional nations.
Focusing on the strategic objectives of the US and Israel, it is clear that this war has a long-term nature and, contrary to some analyses, will not be a short-term conflict. Even in the event of temporary ceasefires, the potential for subsequent rounds of war remains highly probable. The martyred Iranian Leader had already emphasized that the only path to achieving genuine peace and stability in the region would be the withdrawal of US forces from the Middle East – a path that can be achieved through military defeat in this war or internal collapse within the United States.
The political and economic consequences of the war extend far beyond Iran’s borders, significantly impacting regional countries and the US itself. The economic and political conditions in the United States were already in a critical state before the war broke out, and according to social analyses, American public opinion, with its “America First” slogan, demands an immediate end to such tensions. Even some US senators, after confidential briefings, have acknowledged that this war is illegal and not based on a genuine threat from Iran, and that its repercussions, particularly in the economic and international standing spheres, will be very severe for the US.
However, the fundamental question is whether American society, which considers itself a bearer of democratic values, will be able to counter the influence of the Zionist lobby in shaping foreign policy. Past evidence and experiences suggest that this confrontation will be extremely difficult, and there are serious doubts about the actual ability of American society to stop this illegitimate war.
In conclusion, Iran, with its defensive and smart strategy, is defending its national and regional security. The current war is not just a limited conflict; it is a test of regional stability and indicative of the depth of the conspiracies of the US and Israel, the consequences of which will be visible far beyond Iran’s borders and even the United States itself.
