Leader:

A united nation will overcome any enmity

Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei called on the Iranian nation, especially its youths, to maintain their unity and stressed that a united nation will overcome any enmity.
On the anniversary of the 1978 historic uprising of the people of Qom against the oppressive Pahlavi regime, thousands of people from Qom Province met with Ayatollah Khamenei at the Imam Khomeini Hussainiyah of Tehran on Friday.
In remarks at the meeting, the Leader said a series of vandals destroyed the buildings of their own country in Tehran and the other cities on Thursday night in order to appease the US president.
Ayatollah Khamenei called on the youth of Iran, in particular, to preserve preparedness, unity, and presence in the scene.
The Leader denounced the riots and acts of vandalism in Iran as a plot hatched by the enemies, saying the US, which has confessed to killing over 1,000 Iranians during the 12-day war, tries to incite violence in the country.
Unable to run his own country or deal with various incidents in the US, the American president has threatened that he will side with the rioters and harmful people in Iran if the Iranian administration takes certain measures, Ayatollah Khamenei said.
The Leader advised the US president to focus on managing his own country’s problems.
He lashed out at a bunch of unaware people that have been deceived by the US president and have set the garbage cans ablaze to please Trump.
Authorities have emphasized that the majority of demonstrators have expressed their demands peacefully and within legal frameworks. Senior officials have underlined a clear distinction between lawful protesters and individuals who seek to exploit public grievances for disruptive or violent purposes.
Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that the Islamic Republic would in no way compromise on confronting the mercenaries who act in the interest of foreigners.
Everyone should know that the Islamic Establishment came to power with the sacrifice of some hundred noble Iranian people, and it would not shy away from confronting those who engage in acts of sabotage, he underlined.
In recent days, Iran has witnessed protests in several cities following the depreciation of the national currency and a sharp rise in inflation, which have put growing pressure on household livelihoods.
The increase in prices of essential goods and basic commodities has fueled dissatisfaction, prompting the administration to adopt measures aimed at easing economic strain, including raising subsidies for the purchase of basic necessities.
Meanwhile, the enemies have tried to take advantage of the situation and foment violent riots in Iran.
