Resistance Front remains self-reliant despite challenges

Over the past 42 years, since Hafez al-Assad, the then-president of Syria, dispatched an envoy to the Iranian Embassy to formally declare Syria’s support for Iran during the Iran-Iraq War, the relationship between Tehran and Damascus has remained remarkably stable, even amidst shifting regional dynamics. Throughout this period, Syria stood as Iran’s only staunch ally among Arab nations.
