Afghan artist’s works bridge Middle East, Far East
The exhibition, featuring 35 works created using oil and acrylic techniques on canvas, will be inaugurated on November 1 and will run until November 15, ISNA reported.
Mahmoodi, who specializes in abstract expressionist painting, has used various symbols and patterns inspired by ancient stones to reflect on the thoughts and perspectives of people from the Middle East to the Far East.
He also emphasizes the importance of preserving cultural commonalities among countries in these regions.
