On Sunday, a group of 250 Iranian legislators introduced a motion that requires the administration to designate the Canadian Army and federal police forces as terrorist organizations, Press TV reported.
They expressed their strong support for the IRGC and hailed its defense of Iran’s national security and territorial integrity in the years following the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
Canada’s Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc Ottawa on Wednesday listed the IRGC as a “terrorist entity” under the Criminal Code and called on Canadians in Iran to leave.
