Ahmadvand revealed this information during a press conference on Sunday. He highlighted that this year’s fair, themed “Let’s Read and Create,” is scheduled from May 8 to 18 at the Mosalla venue in Tehran, IRNA wrote.
Ahmadvand also mentioned that Yemen will replace India as the special guest of this edition due to unforeseen circumstances related to India’s participation.

This year’s fair will feature two special programs, including sessions focused on Gaza-related issues and activities for women and girls.
The fair will be conducted both physically and virtually, with efforts to maximize international participation, Ahmadvand added.
The cultural event is poised to serve as a platform for promoting Iranian publishing abroad, with a special event titled “Iranian Publishing” planned for May 13 to 15. This event aims to introduce Iranian publications to foreign publishers and literary agents, with approximately 20 publishers and literary agents expected to attend.
Ahmadvand concluded by underscoring the significance of hosting a special guest at the fair, citing it as a tradition that enhances cultural exchange.
He stressed the long-standing cultural ties between Iran and Yemen and emphasized the potential for collaboration and mutual growth between the two nations.
