The latest SCI report, which was published on Monday, showed that Iran’s gross domestic product (GDP) rose to 2,144 trillion rials in the first quarter of the current Iranian year (March 21-June 21), IRNA reported.
The data showed that Iran’s GDP, without oil, had increased to 1,818 trillion rials in the same period, up 6.1 percent from the second quarter of 2022.
The SCI said Iran’s agriculture sector had contracted by 4.6 percent, while the industry and mining sector grew by 7.3 percent, and the services sector reported an expansion of 9.3 percent over the second quarter of 2022.
