Iranian cinematographer dies, aged 71

Iranian director of photography and a veteran of the silver screen Morteza Poursamadi died.
He died while filming a home entertainment series.
Born in 1952 in the western city of Hamedan, Poursamadi left behind numerous outstanding works, including ‘The Zero-Degree Parallel,’ ‘Sh! Girls Don’t Shout!’ ‘Day in, Day out,’ etc.
During his professional career, Poursamadi worked with many renowned Iranian documentary filmmakers.
He was nominated for the Best Cinematography Award for ‘Endless Night’ at the Top Indie Film Award and the Love International Film Festival.
