He regarded this approach as a highly valuable opportunity for the Muslim world. Acknowledging the extensive common border between the two countries and the potential for increased border exchanges, Gen. Munir emphasized that bolstering economic, trade, and border interactions would lead to improved security conditions.
He also said that both sides have successfully reached agreements aimed at enhancing security along their shared borders, and they are diligently working towards implementing these measures to establish sustainable security.
Pakistan’s Army chief has also held talks with his Iranian counterpart, Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri, during which both sides emphasized the significance of bilateral relations in the region.
The Pakistani official has also met with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian as well as the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, Major General Hossein Salami.
