In a display of its continued strength in defense, the Islamic Republic of Iran yesterday unveiled its latest military achievement – a hypersonic missile called “Fattah”. The missile, like other defense equipment, underwent rigorous tests and only after successful results, was revealed to the public.
Iran’s commitment to building advanced defense equipment remains steadfast, with young scientists and veterans of the defense industry constantly researching in order to upgrade the country’s military hardware. Iran’s national independence is paramount, and whenever necessary, it makes any equipment required to bolster defense power without waiting for a green light from abroad.
The significance of the Fattah missile’s unveiling on the death anniversary of Ayatollah Rouhollah Khomeini, the founding father of the Islamic Republic of Iran, cannot be overstated. Ayatollah Khomeini instilled in Iranian society the spirit of self-sufficiency and national strength through the “We can” motto. This significant defense achievement reaffirms the nation’s commitment to follow the path of the 1979 Islamic Revolution and its late leader.
Furthermore, the unveiling of the Fattah missile sends a message to neighboring countries and the region that relying on internal capabilities instead of external powers is possible. Iran’s demonstration of its internal capability serves as an example to others to follow suit in times of need.
