A total of 2.43 million tons of various products, worth over $440 million, were traded at IME’s domestic and export metal and mineral trading hall, reported ime.co.ir on Saturday.
Among the traded products were 383,992 tons of steel, 600,000 tons of iron ore, 158,600 tons of sponge iron, 8,890 tons of copper, 875 tons of zinc, 200 tons of molybdenum concentrate, 7,300 tons of aluminum ingots, and 500 tons of cast iron as well as 1.27 million tons of cement.
In addition, 420,051 tons of various commodities, valued at about $194 million, were traded at IME’s domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading halls.
Other traded items were 97,028 tons of polymeric products, 73,000 tons of vacuum bottom, 66,000 tons of lube cut, 39,702 tons of chemical products, 21,200 tons of sulfur, 3,967 tons of base oil, 200 tons of insulation, 500 tons of petroleum products and 158,301 tons of bitumen.
