Iran has specific plan to curb inflation, boost production: Khandouzi

The minister of economic affairs and finance said on Wednesday that according to the emphasis of the Leader on containing inflation and increasing production, his ministry has put a specific plan on its agenda for the current Iranian year (started March 21).
 “The first step is the acceleration of the issuance of business licenses, which started last [Iranian] year, and, until today, 284,000 entrepreneurs have received their licenses,” Ehsan Khandouzi noted, according to IRNA.
He added that another plan is to use the capacities of the country’s capital markets to finance production.
“Last [Iranian] year, we managed to increase the capital of non-governmental and stock exchange companies by 100 trillion tomans,” the minister explained.
