Fars Province offers many choices for nature lovers

Fars is a southern province of Iran. This province has three distinct climate zones. The mountainous regions of its northern, northwestern, and western parts have cold winters and mild and pleasant springs and summers.
The central region has a relatively mild climate in the winter and hot and dry summers. Shiraz, Fasa, Firouzabad, and Kazerun are among the cities located in this district. The climate of the southern and southwestern region is mild in the winter and very hot in the summer.  In the spring season, most areas of Fars Province have pleasant weather, but you might feel a little warm in the southern part, surfiran.com reported.
The straits of Fars Province and, in general, the recreational and natural places of the region offer many choices for nature lovers.
The most beautiful waterfall in Iran, Taram Waterfall, is located in Fars Province. On the other hand, the natural springs of this province, along with some historical houses, have become recreational places.
Zagros Mountains
The Zagros Mountains in the northwest-southeast direction have turned Fars Province into a special mountainous region. Fars Province can be divided into two distinct natural areas: The northern and northwestern region, which consists of interconnected heights and has difficult passes and deep valleys. The south and southeast region, which is located in the distance between the sub-mountain ranges, includes the fertile plains of Shiraz, Kazeroon, Neyriz, and Marvdasht, whose fields are irrigated by several rivers.
Fars Province is full of historical, natural, and religious attractions, each of which has a beauty that speaks of the historical antiquity of this province. You can see and enjoy some of these beauties in all cities of Fars Province. The capital city of Shiraz contains numerous parts of these sights and attracts many travelers.
Hafez is one of the most prominent Iranian poets and mystics. His lyrics are among the most-read and most-cited Persian poems. His tomb is located at the north of Shiraz, in an area called Hafezieh, which consists of two courtyards. Hafez’s mausoleum is located in the northern courtyard, in the center of a garden. Many other famous poets, mystics and scientists are buried next to his tomb.
One of the main tourist attractions of Fars Province is its cuisine and sweets. Shirazi people are very professional in cooking colorful polo (Persian rice), such as kalam polo and Shirazi polo.
