Collection of Drago Stambuk’s poems published in Tehran
A selection of the translated poems of Drago Stambuk, Croatian ambassador to Iran, is published in Tehran.
Prepared by Farhangan Publishing House, ‘And the Sea Is No More’ is Stambuk’s third collection of poems translated into Persian, Iran Daily reported.
Trained as a medical doctor, Stambuk is a renowned Croatian poet who has written extensively on universally shared humane aspects of life in his lines.
The book was unveiled in a ceremony arranged by the publisher in Tehran on March 13, 2023, in which some foreign diplomats, local literary figures attended.
