A woman attending her son’s wedding was left in tears after she identified the bride as her long-lost daughter. The incident happened in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province in China.
The ‘mother-in-law’ noticed a birthmark on her new daughter-in-law’s hand, which was similar to the one on her lost daughter’s hand, timesnownews.com reported.
After spotting the birthmark, the woman approached the bride’s parents and asked if she had been adopted over 20 years ago. The bride’s family was baffled by the question as it had been a secret. However, they went on to reveal that they had found a baby girl by the roadside several years ago whom they brought up as their own daughter.
On hearing the story, the bride burst into tears. She wanted to know more about her biological parents. She described the moment of meeting her biological mother as “happier than the wedding day itself”.
The story didn’t end there. There was more to come.
The bride was now concerned about marrying her elder brother. However, the mother-in-law revealed that there would be no objection to their marriage as the groom was also adopted.
The woman had adopted a boy after losing all hopes of finding her missing daughter. She had searched for her for years but in vain, Oriental Daily reported.
She said that there would be no problem in their marriage as they were not biological siblings.
The bride was relieved to know this and the couple completed their wedding rituals.
The wedding guests gave the family their best wishes on the doubly joyous day.

 

Police in Pennsylvania shared video from the unusual rescue of a squirrel found trapped inside a metal pole.
The Lititz Borough Police Department said officers were called to the Lockup Lane area on a report of a squirrel trapped inside a metal pole attached to the side of a utility pole, UPI reported.
The squirrel had apparently fallen into the open top of the metal pole and was unable to climb back out.
The department posted a video to Facebook showing officers using a small ladder to get above the pole and reach in with a smaller pole to allow the squirrel to climb to freedom.
The video shows the squirrel climb the offered escape route and dart up the wooden utility pole with such speed that the department replayed the footage in super slow motion to make the animal visible.

 

An Australian mum’s incredible cleaning schedule has taken the Internet by storm after she declared Mondays are for deep cleaning bathrooms and Fridays can’t pass without disinfecting the outside bins or sweeping the deck.
The busy mum made the schedule after feeling overwhelmed by her list of chores after ‘letting things slip’ recently, dailymail.co.uk reported.
She said she has two children aged two and eight who aren’t keen on cleaning and a husband who doesn’t see it as a top priority.
“Can anyone suggest anything I may have forgotten to add here, or anything I should change?” she asked sharing the list.
The list is divided by daily jobs, weekly jobs and monthly jobs to help the mum stay organized. And people were impressed.
“Great work, I am a visual person so having it all on display is awesome,” one mum said.
“This was me a few weeks back. I find that even if I only do a small job each day it adds up at the end of the week,” another said.   
The mum’s daily chores include doing the dishes, wiping the benches and doing the laundry — including folding clothes while waiting for the washing machine to finish.
Her monthly goals are to clean the garage, deep clean the dishwasher, washing machine and dryer and to clean the ceiling fans.  
She also revealed she has anxiety and Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) which can make simple chores take all day.
“Just looking for some suggestions on where, and how to start when the cleaning jobs are bigger than they should be,” she said.
And people were keen to help.
“I am super anxious also and have many internal barriers that I am tackling. I have been taking small steps towards my tidying and cleaning goals,” one mum offered.

 

When moving house, we tend to do a lot of research into the area — what the local schools are like, where the nearest supermarkets are, if it’s a peaceful street, that sort of thing.
But we probably wouldn’t pay too much attention to the bird sounds in the neighborhood, mirror.co.uk reported.
One TikTok user from the US claims to have noticed something rather bizarre about the sounds he was hearing outside his newly built home.
Known only as Casey, the user posted a video to the social media platform under the name @cursedhome.
In the clip, Casey takes viewers on a trip around his new street, where he had discovered all the nature sounds weren’t as they seemed.
He explained: “We discovered something strange in our newly built neighborhood...
“I don’t think this is normal.
“We started to realize all the bird and nature sounds were on repeat.
“We then started to find actual speakers hidden everywhere.”
As the video goes on, Casey pulls mini speakers out from in between rocks and in some pipes on the ground.
He added: “Isn’t it scary they have fake nature sounds instead of real ones?”
The clip has now been watched more than one million times and garnered thousands of likes and comments.
One person wrote: “Maybe it’s to attract the animals back to the disrupted area?”
Someone else said: “Wait till you find out about the cameras.”
Others weren’t convinced and didn’t believe the video was real, suggesting that Casey had planted the speakers there himself.
